Topics

Reliability issues of technical objects and systems concern a very wide area of applications, especially:

  • air, road, rail, sea, and inland waterway, as well as pipeline transport, including means of transport, transportation infrastructure, and management systems,
  • industrial and civil engineering,
  • electrical and electronic equipment industry,
  • information and telecommunications technology,
  • mechanical and manufacturing engineering,
  • logistics systems and processes,
  • agriculture and food industry,
  • medicine, health care, environmental protection,
  • chemical industry.

The topics of the papers will include theoretical and practical issues of technical objects and systems reliability, including but not limited to:

  • objects reliability testing and assessment in operational and maintenance systems,
  • modelling and simulation of reliability and durability of technical components and systems,
  • objects availability optimisation,
  • methods for increasing the reliability of machines and equipment,
  • identification of failures and degradation processes of objects,
  • analysis of components and systems' resilience to external events,
  • human influence on technical systems reliability,
  • ecological aspects of components and systems operation and maintenance,
  • problems of training on reliability and safety.

Participation application

Application for participation in the Winter School on Reliability 2023 can be made by sending an e-mail titled "APPLICATION ZSN 2023" to the address: zsn.wt@pw.edu.pl no later than December 10th, 2022

Please include the following information in the e-mail:

  • Participant's name and surname,
  • Participant's title / academic degree,
  • Participant's affiliation,
  • Title of the paper,
  • Authors of the paper with affiliation,
  • Data for the invoice with a VAT identification number.

Sending an e-mail is tantamount to consent to process the Participant's data concerning his/her participation in the Conference.

Tips

Abstract texts in Polish and English (preferably together with the article) in electronic version only, should be submitted no later than November 30th 2022, to the following e-mail address: zsn.wt@pw.edu.pl

  • The name of the file should include the author's or first author's surname.
  • Abstracts in Polish and English, with a total length of two pages, should be prepared in accordance with the publishing requirements (file "Abstract's template") available on the conference website. Abstracts will be published as Materials for the Winter School on Reliability.
  • Articles qualified by the Program Council will be published in the post-conference monograph of the WUT Publishing House. Papers should be prepared in accordance with the publishing requirements ("Article's template" file) provided on the conference website.
  • Application for participation in the Conference Winter School on Reliability 2023 is tantamount to consent to the issuance of an invoice.

The conference "LI Winter School on Reliability" is cofinanced from the state budget program of the Minister of Education and Science called "Excellent science - Support for scientific conferences", project number DNK/SP/548985/2022, grant amount 58,950 PLN, total project value 65,800 PLN.". As part of the project, part of the conference fee (the exact quote 900 PLN) will be paid back to ten Ph.D. students and five students from students science clubs who will obtain the highest position in the ranking based on the evaluation of submitted, delivered and presented researches (papers, posters) made by the Program Council. Financing will be granted post-conference after all sessions of the Winter School on Reliability".

The website of the LI Winter School of Reliability ZSN 2023 was subsidized from the state budget under the program of the Ministry of Education and Science called "Excellent Science - Support for scientific conferences", project number DNK/SP/548985/2022, the amount of funding 58,950 PLN, the total value of the project 65,800 PLN.
